tape and teal

Just a quick photo blog of some tape and teal designs that I did.

Using the nail tape from china and ''Teal green'' by Sally Handson.

It looks great but dosen't last long, No matter how much top coat I apply the tape always starts to peel off at the edges and ruins the look :(

ghetto nails...

How ghetto can I go, how many cheap ways to do your nails can I come up with on this site to amuse you all and give those with no money the chance to look great!
a fucking million...

So today I found some pastel colored permeation markers in my office that i forgot I had and thought the colors would looks awesome on my nails...so that what I did.

I used ''Lavender cloud'' by Sally Hanson as a back coat.

Simply I drew little love hearts to keep in with the pastel pinks theme all over my nails  being sure to evenly distribute the colors.
Now this is simple if you are ambidextrous which I nearly am, but if your not you may have some problems painting your dominate hand, but keep trying, bust some out on paper before you start if your worried.

Wear to gospel choir sessions, back to school reunions and showings of the seven year itch...

The wonders of poundland...

Oh poundland you've done it again...

filled me with wonder and good times, yeah anyway poundland stocks Sally Hanson nail polish which I have been gobbling up like a mother fucker and now they sell little jems and other bits of crap that you can stick on your nails...

So if your broke, like I always am get on down to the land of the pound for treasures aplenty...

Even Deago Wanted to try these new colours...and this shows there wear because I panited his nails 3 days ago thinking it would wear off in the day but no still these looking this hot...deago gets the ladies with his painted claw!.

And on a side note, sorry for the lack of posts lately, I have been a bit depressed, things in my happy little life don't feel very happy at the moment and I'm worried about numerous things concerning my marriage so I have been focusing on making my husband not leave me for other women :(...
But I shall try to get back on to doing some tutorials etc and daily posts...

thanks for the tape china!

derp, china is like far away or some shit, cos the tape I ordered ages ago only just got here!!!!!

But still better late than never as they say, so like always I rush straight into a design without any thought!

I love the quilted look that people always seem to achieve when they have the tape so I thought I would give that  a bust.

Now tape is annoying and time consuming and fiddly so unless you have the fingers of a pianist, and since I am a pianist  and so do, this is not for you..get some tweezers, like now...or don't bother...

you will need the following...

Two colors that look good togtehr, I have gone for ''very violent'' by No.7, and a pink pearl bu Loreal.

your tape and a nail art pen with a lighter color to match, I have chosen a pink to compliment the purples.

COMMENCE......

Now tape up the nail in a nice cross hatch manner, keep a little bit of tape hanging over the edge so you got something to peel off, and cover in the polish of your choice!

peel away gently and allow to dry...

Now as an extra you can add small dots on the cross hatch section of the lines for added effect  but either way looks good, if you like you can use gems!

Wear to quilting parties, showings of the Evil dead and yoga classes...

one year love!

So I haven't been posting that much over the past week and that's because it was me and my husbands one year wedding anniversary so we took the week off to hang out and party!

During that week I wore these little love hearts on my nails, gotta keep it themed.

Love the combo of baby blue and neon pinks, its timeless.

life as a jarhead...

get your tickets to the gun show bitches...

this design looks way complicated but is so simple...

all you need to do is get a swatch of camo print and four colours...

I'm using greens for today's nails but u can do camos in pink, blues etc...

Deago has his pens at the ready...

Use a medium to bright green for the back ground and cover the nail...

using your camo image pattern the nails opting between dark and lights to even out the tone...to many darks on the top will swamp the nail and look a mess, so mix it up a bit!

Wear these to the war and peace show, visits to Nuremberg and tea with the vicar

polka crazy

Sorry for the lack of posts recently I have been busy with my band writing new music!!!

Well today I'm not going to be doing a massive tutorial since the design I have been sporting all weekend is very basic but awesome.

Taking the idea of polka dots, I change it up by varying the sizes, I use a duck egg blue from the Clair's pastel range and a white nail art pen from RIO to create this design.

Awesome times, everyone who wants to get started in nail art seems to do polka dots, so now it seems kinda dull, but this is a little more fun !!
